What is a Donor-Advised Fund?
A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is a charitable giving account that lets you make a significant impact while enjoying immediate tax benefits. You contribute cash, stocks, or other assets to your DAF, receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants to charities over time—at your pace.
Popular DAF providers include: Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, Vanguard Charitable, and others.
How to give from your DAF:
It's simple. If you have a Donor-Advised Fund with any provider, you can recommend a grant to Habitat for Humanity of the Magic Valley using our Every.org page:

Just log into your DAF account, recommend a grant to our organization, and we'll receive your donation. No paperwork needed on your end.

Cars For Homes
For more information on how to donate a car, truck, boat or RV to Cars for HomesTM – Habitat’s official car donation program, call (877) 277-4344 toll free or visit their website. A car donation is a convenient way to support Habitat for Humanity of the Magic Valley and create more space in your driveway!

We are proud to say that nearly 100% of your cash donation goes to build simple, decent homes here in the Magic Valley with partner families in need. Our ReStore is able to cover nearly all our overhead affiliate costs and also helps to build the fund for homes.

Your cash donation is a tax-deductible contribution as well. Please be sure to see if your company offers matching funds for your donation.
Estate Planning & Memorials
Your tax-deductible donation can also serve as a meaningful tribute in honor of a friend, colleague or loved one – or in remembrance of a loved one who has passed away. Building With Books
Donate to our building with books program to support education for our partner families. Each family receives a bookcase made by a local woodworker and we fill the shelves with a dictionary, an atlas, a cookbook, health books, and classic nursery rhymes and fairytales.
We also love to receive gently used books as donations so we can help foster the love of learning in our families and their children.
