Thank you to all who were involved
in the 2024 Rim2Rim race

The 47th Rim2Rim Race4Homes took place on September 7th, 2024, with 391 participants. In the Rim2Rim races, Zeke Wilson won the male category with a time of 43:28, while Marilyn Tarkalson took the female title with 54:48. The walking category was led by Donn Bordewyk (1:29:00) for the men and Kristy Carpenter (1:35:49) for the women. Other highlights included Da$h4Ca$h victories for Mary Sullivan and Ken Richardson (runners), and Kristy Carpenter and Donn Bordewyk (walkers). Special awards went to Regina Jasso-Huerta, the youngest participant at 7, and Linda Leach, the oldest at 81. Many local businesses and volunteers, including the Rim 2 Rim Committee and Magic Valley Paramedics, contributed to the event’s success.

The Rim2Rim is more than just a road race.

It is also a charity event to raise funds to help Habitat for Humanity of the Magic Valley build simple, decent, affordable housing in our community. Current plans include building two new homes and renovating two existing homes this next year to house four partner families currently living in substandard housing. Help us make that a reality.
